Guarisco Invitational 50/50 Fantasy Football Tournament (Best Ball) Results:

Congratulations to ALEX RICHARD, aka “Reesh,” the first winner of the Guarisco Invitational 50/50 Fantasy Football Tournament !

Reesh’s team outscored 2nd place by 70 points, featuring studs like Pat Mahomes(QB1), Aaron Rodgers, Mitch Trubisky, Saquon Barkley(RB2), Julio Jones(WR3), JuJu Smith-Shuster(WR9), Robert Woods(WR10), O.J. Howard, and Will Lutz(K3), and Rams (DST4).

Thank you so much for participating in this tournament! We were able to donate almost $1,000(!!! – $944.50 to be exact) to “Paralyzed Veterans of America,” a charity that helps severely disabled veterans by providing them with medical assistance to aide recovery and transition, legal services, and sports and recreation programs.

All 50 members made this league special because each of you donated, and each of you took time out of your busy lives to draft a team. In short, y’all are awesome!

I want to call out Josh Lorando’s State Farm Agency in Mid City, NOLA for our highest donation ($100.00). If you need insurance, their customer service is off the charts. And I would know, because I’m a client. Burt Pereira also donated $90, so he deserves major props as well.

Total Tournament Funds Accumulated = $1,444.50

***Funds Donated to Charity = $944.50*** (see receipt below).

Prize Allocation:

1st Place = $250.00 (Alex Richard)

2nd Place = $125.00 (Matt Fleming)

3rd Place = $75.00 (Nick Guarisco)

4th Place = $30.00 (Ben Vollenweider)

5th Place = $20.00 (Patrick Fisse)

I want to continue this Tournament and make it bigger and better each year.

I’ve already thought of 7 Major Changes for next year’s 2019 Tournament:

1. Give a small bonus ($10-15) for the high scorer each week, in order to make the tourney more fun and interesting throughout the year.

2. Reduce entry fee from $20 to $10-$15. I think $20 scared some people on the fence off, and a lower entry fee would yield more participants.

3. Allow more than 1 Swap, and make them more affordable ($5 instead of $10). This would increase the amount of action / interest during the season.

4. Move the Draft back a week or two. We drafted between August 5th-12th last year. Ideally I think teams should draft between the 10th-20th, 2nd/3rd week of preseason.

5. Expand Rosters to 30 players instead of 28. Even in a relatively healthy year, we had too many Zeros in lineups by the end of the season because some teams couldn’t field enough healthy, active players to be scored. I think adding 2 spots AND making swaps more prevalent will help with this.

6. Make it a true 50/50 format, allocating more money to the winners. This year I had made it to where 50% of the BUY-IN went to the pot and 50% went to charity, with ALL extra money exceeding the entry fee and all swap money going to charity. I think it’s easier, however, if it’s a true 50/50, where half goes to the pot and half goes to charity regardless. It’s awesome that more money was given to charity than the pot this year, but I do think there needs to be greater incentive to win with a bigger prize.

7. Eliminate Week 17 from contention.

Please contact me if you have any suggestions for next year besides the ones above. I’d love y’all’s feedback!

Below, I’ve posted a SHORT SUMMARY for EVERY TEAM, if you’re interested.

Team-by-Team Short Summaries

BOURBON ST. DIVISION:

  • Brooks (34th) – Killed by RB injuries to Dalvin Cook and Devonta Freeman. Backup RBs were no help. Not having a kicker during Zuerlein’s injury left a goose egg at the spot for several weeks.
  • Joh Sedtal (11th) – Smartly swapped James Conner in early. WAS and KC DSTs weren’t good. QBs behind Brees – Tyrod and Carr – were well below average. Picked Drew Brees in Round 2!
  • John Armato (36th) – Only person to pick Adrian Peterson. Also drafted James White and Christian McCaffrey… but Le’Veon Bell sunk this team.
  • Brett Beter (10th) – One of my favorites to win the whole thing immediately after the draft but underwhelmed a little early on. Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott came on at the end, propelling this team in the second half. Team was hurt by only 1 K and 1 DST for a large portion of season. Skill players at RB/WR were tops in the entire tournament, however.
  • Dixon (39th) – Case Keenum flopping hurt, because this team only had 2 starting QBs. Wasted picks on Dez, Benjamin, Bryant, Williams, McCown… 3 Saints – Kamara, MT, and Saints DST… along with Chris Carson and Adam Thielen, were main sources of points.
  • Samantha (43rd) – Two misses at RB in McCoy and Freeman set the tone for barren RBs. Rest of team was OK, but not spectacular.
  • Longmire (26th) – Excellent RBs in Gordon, Mack, Barkley, and Aaron Jones. Injuries to Jimmy Garoppolo, Cooper Kupp, and Delanie Walker crippled this team.
  • Ben Volly (4th) – Tourney’s best QB combo in Mahomes/Trubisky/Watson. Horrible RBs, neglected them during draft and it showed (did lose Guice). Great team outside of RBs.
  • Gast (24th) – Didn’t end up needing to draft Rodgers early with Ryan/Goff/Mayfield. Also didn’t need to draft Jimmy Graham early with Kelce. Jay Ajayi injury and only 1 kicker and 1 DST for a while hurt.
  • Robyn (37th) – Fournette was a total bust, and Marshawn Lynch lasted half the season. Couldn’t find a 2nd QB, and the TEs – Doyle/Clay – were the worst among any team. Strong WRs kept her honest.

ESPLANADE DIVISION:

  • Crooks (18th) – Well rounded team but only had 1 DST (PHI), and 1 K (Bryant, who missed time with an injury). Came out the gate hot, but faded.
  • Pereira (44th) – Destroyed by injuries perhaps more than any other team in the tourney. Jimmy Garoppolo, Alex Collins, Marshawn Lynch, Kerryon Johnson, Chris Thompson, A.J. Green, Cam Meredith and Greg Olsen. Yikes.
  • Clarke (50th) – Early RB picks in Bell, Gronk, McCoy, and Penny were destructive. No team got less out of their first 4 picks. Delanie Walker and Sean Lee added injury to insult.
  • J-Lo (16th) – Strong team that tanked when Kareem Hunt got cut. Weak at DST and DP.
  • Andy Volly (12th) – Horrific RB situation that was bettered in the second half of the season with Derrick Henry and Aaron Jones’ emergences.
  • Brien (32nd) – Well-rounded starters with Zeke, Keenan Allen, Davante Adams, and Zach Ertz, but didn’t get enough from the QB spot with Tyrod and Flacco benched, and Alex Smith hurt. Deion Jones’ injury also crippled this team’s DP spot. Nice WR depth.
  • Carly (15th) – The only team to draft Josh Allen (great pick late). Drafted her defense higher than any team (round 6). Loaded at WR but probably the league’s worst RB situation. Fournette, McKinnon, Gore, and Breida… that was it at RB. Good team outside of that.
  • John Richardson (8th) – One of 2 teams to have never played Fantasy Football before. Good start! Was a top-3 team through 10 weeks until Melvin Gordon, Isaiah Crowell, James Conner, Odell Beckham, Will Fuller, and Cooper Kupp got hurt. Could have possibly won the tourney without those injuries.
  • Gioe (9th) – Slow starting team. Perhaps league’s best DP set up. Well rounded with a few studs – Gurley, Ebron, JuJu. The tourney’s most consistent team (never scored below 150!) but didn’t have many 200+ point games, either.
  • Olson (19th) – QBs were awful. RBs Kamara and McCaffrey were studly and would have been even better if not for Ajayi getting hurt. The tournament’s second worst TE situation with Watson/Griffin.

MAGAZINE DIVISION:

  • Terry (6th) – Was in a great spot of draft, nailed first 4 picks: Zeke, Adams, Mixon, Hilton. Also had strong QB play, but needed lots of help at WR after Kupp got hurt. One of the better built teams from strategy perspective.
  • Reesh (1st) – Tournament Champion had dominant QB play, a stud RB in Barkley, and 3 Top-10 WRs. Team was unstoppable when O.J. Howard, Will Fuller, and Matt Bryant were healthy. Also one of the healthiest teams in the league, which has a big impact.
  • Baird (47th) – Despite drafting 8 WRs, this team struggled at the position. McKinnon going down hurt but production was replaced by Chris Carson. Only 1 DST and K wasn’t wise. Struggled at TE, too. This team did have outstanding DP production, however.
  • The Other AA (41st) – Jimmy Garoppolo going down crippled QB points – benched Flacco and bust Stafford were others. Dalvin Cook and Rashaad Penny’s lack of production overshadowed great receiver play. Too many “zeros” (Boston Scott, Jeremy Hill, Eric Decker, DJ Chark, Tyler Eifert).
  • Scottie A (23rd) – Lost top 3 RBs in Hunt, Ajayi, and Kerryon Johnson, and got next to nothing behind them. Kelce and Cook formed the league’s best TE situation. Wilson and Watson at QB was nice.
  • Pearlstein (48th) – Tough to overcome Devonta Freeman and LeSean McCoy, early busts. TE Eric Ebron was a savior and great pick. Rostering only 2 DPs hurt when Kwon Alexander got hurt.
  • Lorando (42nd) – The only team to draft Ryan Fitzpatrick, and this team was ride and die with FitzMagic. When he was benched, this team sunk. Minimal TE production and a bad swap to Browns DST didn’t help. Derrick Henry’s emergence was too little, too late.
  • Pat Alexander (31st) – Teams that picked Fournette had huge disadvantage. Injuries to LF, Deion Jones, Marvin Jones, and Tyler Boyd were tough to overcome. This team was made by Matt Ryan, Prescott to Cooper, Melvin Gordon, and Tyler Lockett, but had little behind them.
  • Stokes (17th) – Struggling before Winston and Mayfield took the field. Le’Veon Bell’s hold out was overcome by great backup RBs – AP, Mack, James White and Aaron Jones. Had 6 DPs and only 1 K and 1 DST, so better late-draft strategy needed.
  • Richie (21st) – Todd Gurley, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle carried this team. Team peaked in top-8 until A.J. Green went down. Lack of 2nd QB behind Luck and bad DPs were among reasons for mediocre season.

CARONDELET DIVISION:

  • Knight (14th) – Would say this team needed more than 2 QBs but Roeth and Prescott were fine. Derrius Guice would have helped, but team otherwise had good health. Jared Cook, and Derrick Henry’s 52 point game were beneficial.
  • Wells (20th) – Miserable start to season. Despite one of the worst QB situations – Winston/Keenum – this team had second half studs like Joe Mixon, Chris Carson, Travis Kelce, DeAndre Hopkins, and Julio Jones. Was as hot was any team at season’s end.
  • Mayer (28th) – Delanie Walker, Dalvin Cook, and Sean Lee’s health would have bettered this team, but outside of JuJu and Odell, this team lacked star power.
  • Mineo (30th) – Nice swap to Adrian Peterson early, but did not receive RB production outside of he and Gurley. Eric Ebron’s impact was large, but no studs at WR prevented this team from excelling. Team peaked in midseason when Goff and Rivers were on fire.
  • Hewett (46th) – Ajayi, Lynch going down killed this squad. McCoy was a bust, and the team got minimal production from RB all year. Fast starts by Drew Brees, Lynch, and John Brown had this team in the 20s early on.
  • Fisse (5th) – David Johnson and Leonard Fournette seemed like a strong pairing in Rounds 1-2, but ultimately snagging James Conner late made this team’s RBs quality. Engram/Kittle formed one of the best TE combos, and Davante Adams had a great year. Watson/Ryan at QB rounded this team out. One awful week prevented this team from finishing higher.
  • Fleming (2nd) – Started in the middle of the pack but was wrecking opponents down the stretch. Zach Ertz, Barkley, Luck, Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Nick Chubb, Mike Evans, formed a deadly skill position set, which could have been even better had Matt Breida, Sony Michel, AJ Green, and OJ Howard sustained injuries. Easy to see why this team finished 2nd.
  • Janes (35th) – Struggled at TE with Gronk/Eifert, and Woods (WR10) was the team’s best wide out. James White, McCaffrey, and AP made up for Le’Veon Bell’s loss, but ultimately it was the lack of QB behind Newton (Mariota/Dalton) that caused this team to fade.
  • Chouest (45th) – Had some players – Russ, Zeke, Cooper, Tyreek – but a horrible TE situation, and injuries to Wentz and Devonta Freeman were painful. Needed much more depth at RB/WR.
  • Ledoux (33rd) – Team started hot but Jimmy G’s injury started downhill slide. Too many picks on DP (7 DPs!) and not enough at RB (3!). Although Kamara and Gordon were 2 of those 3 RBs, this team needed more depth there to fill out the flexes. Greg Olsen/Charles Clay were a bad TE combo.

ST. CHARLES DIVISION:

  • Dier (49th) – Accidentally drafted Joe Mixon 10th overall, but it turned out OK. He was a hit. It was the lack of RBs behind Mixon that sucked. WR production behind Thielen was also awful. Olsen and Delanie Walker got hurt at TE, so there was no production there either. No real strengths, evidenced by finish.
  • Adam Guarisco (13th) – Started out in the 30s after a few weeks but the cream rose to the top. Strong core group of Russ, McCaffrey, AB, Adams, and Ertz, who would combine for 100+ weekly. Needed a RB2 arguably more than any team, however.
  • McLeod (25th) – Excellent depth at QB/RB/WR. DST was also strong with CHI/SEA. Having only one K, a bad one (Lambo) and worthless DPs was the reason this team didn’t finish in the top 10.
  • Klotman (38th) – Started hot, but faded after Ajayi went down. Having only 1 K and 1 DST (Bengals??) was detrimental to a team that had Kamara, Cohen, Michael Thomas, Hilton, Diggs, Lockett, and Kupp.
  • Price (40th) – Drafting only 3 RBs – one of them Guice – left Fournette, Peyton Barber (swap), and Kareem Hunt, this team confusingly drafted 3 DSTs early, drafted 3 kickers, and 6 DPs… but only had 6 active WRs and 3 RBs. But hey, QB, K, TE, DST, and DP production was strong at least. Plenty of 0s at flexes and OP because of lack of skill position depth.
  • Pellissier (22nd) – Auto drafted second half of draft, resulting in only one kicker. The only team to use a 4-QB late strategy (Bortles, Dalton, Manning, Carr). Nevertheless, Mike Evans, Tyreek Hill, Todd Gurley, Chris Carson, and excellent DPs made this team score above league average.
  • Guarisco (3rd) – Very consistent, but not dominant, team throughout the year. Lost Marshawn Lynch, Jimmy Garoppolo, Sammy Watkins, John Brown, and Alex Collins to injuries. But great second halves from Dak, Cooper, as well as sporadic stud efforts from Mike Williams, helped core of Zeke, Cam, Kittle, Keenan Allen. Excellent K, DST, DP production.
  • J-Smooth (27th) – Started ranked 45th or worse through 8 weeks, but came on eventually. Filled with Houston TExans, this team was aided by DeAndre Hopkins, OJ Howard, Andrew Luck, Baker Mayfield, and Derrick Henry (late). Again, rostering only 1 K and 1 DST wasn’t wise.
  • Delee (7th) – Only 1 starting QB – Mahomes. Bold strategy that somehow worked. Barkley, Julio, Woods, James White, Jeffery formed solid RB/WR group. Travis Kelce was the MVP of this team, however, as the only other TE was Charles Clay.
  • Rachel G (29th) – Started fast, but lost its luster when AJ Green went down and Calvin Ridley cooled off. Needed help at DP all year, and drafted Le’Veon, but Eric Ebron and JuJu were strong, and QBs Brady/Watson/Trubisky were nice too.

*Fun Fact: Pat Mahomes and Saquon Barkley were a deadly combination for Reesh (1st), Fleming (2nd), and Delee (7th).

*Fun Fact #2: Each division of 10 had 2 teams finish in the Top-10.

DONATION INFORMATION:

A receipt of the donation is shown below in the forwarded email to the league.

I have received some questions about being able to write the donation off on your taxes. I tried to input everyone’s name when doing the donation but the space provided only allowed one name. I found this from the PVA website:

According to the Internal Revenue Service code, Paralyzed Veterans of America is a 501c3 organization, which means that all of your contributions are fully tax-deductible. Our Tax ID # is 13-1946868.

I need a receipt for tax purposes. Can you send me one?

We will be happy to send you a receipt. Simply email your request — along with your name, mailing address, and ZIP code — to donorservices@pva.org. You can also call us at 800-555-914

Tournament Rules:

The Guarisco Invitational 50/50 is a huge Best Ball Fantasy Football Tournament that serves as a fundraiser for military charities in an effort to support our troops.

The Tournament is divided into several 10-Team Divisions/Leagues. Each Division/League has its own player universe and draft, but teams compete and are scored against EVERY TEAM in the entire tournament weekly.

The team with the most total points in Weeks 1-17 wins.

The Tournament Entry Fee is only $20.00, and money breakdown is styled like a 50/50 Raffle. That means 50% of the buy-in money is prize money for the Top-5 teams, and all other league proceeds go to Operation Troop Appreciation, a military charity organization that specializes in sending active troops unique care packages with specifically requested items to boost morale and provide comfort to our active service members (think sports equipment, weight-lifting machines, board games, snacks, hygiene products, and technology).

What’s different from your traditional leagues (and what makes this league so easy to participate in and donate to is that THERE IS NO REGULAR SEASON TIME COMMITMENT!

This league has a BEST BALL Format, which means all you have to do is just show up to the online draft in early August, draft your team, and sit back and relax all season.

The team you draft is the team you’re set with all season!

BEST BALL Format = Only your top scorers for each position get scored each week. IMAGINE waiting for all the games to be played each week and having a computer automatically adjust your lineup to attain its optimal score, making sure you receive the maximum points possible based on your players’ performances.

Best Ball Format means:

  • – NO setting your lineups!
  • – NO start/sit decisions!
  • – NO waivers!
  • – NO trades!
  • Just Draft It and Forget It ! … basically.* (See “Swaps,” below)

There are NO HEAD-TO-HEAD MATCHUPS, just weekly tallied points that accrue for each team during Weeks 1-17.

Whichever team has the MOST TOTAL POINTS at the end of the regular season across the entire tournament field (out of all divisions/leagues) is declared the Tournament Winner.

And to reiterate, the 10-team Leagues/Divisions each have their own player universes and drafts, but you are competing against and scored against EVERY TEAM in the entire tourney (all 50 teams) on a weekly basis. YES, TEAMS ACROSS DIFFERENT LEAGUES/DIVISIONS WILL HAVE SOME OF THE SAME PLAYERS.

Scored Rosters = 8 Offensive Players, 2 Defensive Players, 1 Kicker and 1 Defense/Special Teams.

Detailed Position Breakdown:

  • QB,
  • RB,
  • RB,
  • WR,
  • WR,
  • TE,
  • FLEX (any Running Back or Wide Receiver or Tight End),
  • FLEX (any Running Back or Wide Receiver or Tight End),
  • OP (Super Flex / Any Offensive Player)…
  • Kicker
  • DST (any team Defense / Special Teams)
  • DP (any Defensive Player)
  • DP (any Defensive Player)

There are 28 Players on your roster but only 13 Players are scored each week.

Again, think Best Ball. Example: Let’s say you have 4 RBs on roster; and in Week 1, Mark Ingram scores 0 points, Melvin Gordon scores 1 point, Alvin Kamara scores 10, and Danny Woodhead scores 20… under Best Ball format, Woodhead’s 20 and Kamara’s 10 points would be scored for you as your two RBs. The others would not be scored. Like golf, we only take the best balls each week, at least in terms of filling out your lineup.

I will have viewing access to all of the Leagues/Divisions in the Tournament and I WILL AUTOMATICALLY SCORE YOUR ROSTERS IN THIS FORMAT FOR YOU. So there’s literally no work for y’all after you draft your squads!

*SWAPS*

Each team is allowed to make ONE SWAP PRIOR to the start of the regular season and ONE SWAP DURING the regular season.

A swap allows you to dump one of your underwhelming or injured players for any player who was NOT DRAFTED in your league.

PRESEASON SWAPS COST $5.00 IN DONATIONS, AND IN-SEASON SWAPS COST $10.00 IN DONATIONS. All swap money is exchanged the same way as tournament entry fees are (see below for payment methods), and all swap money is donated.

Once the money transaction is made to the Commissioner and he is notified of which player you intend to swap (who for who), that team will receive the swapped player’s points for the FOLLOWING WEEK AND GOING FORWARD.

No Donation, No Swap.

Swapped players DO NOT REPLACE POINTS FOR PAST PERFORMANCES OR IN-GAME PERFORMANCES. Again, their points are only counted for your team the following week after your donation and going forward.

Teams CAN swap for the same players. The only requirement for swaps is that you cannot swap for a player who was drafted.

You do not have to use your swaps. The whole purpose of swaps is to help out teams that got screwed from a major injury, to add ONE layer of regular season strategy to the game, and of course, most importantly, to increase the amount of money donated to the men and women serving the country!

Again, teams only are permitted one swap BEFORE the regular season begins, and one swap DURING the regular season. Each swap is $5 or $10 donated, respectively.

Let me know if you have any questions about swaps.

*** YOUR LEAGUE will be based on your availability for different draft times, as well as your experience and knowledge level of Fantasy Football (I’m trying my best to make the Divisions evenly matched, and I’ll let everyone know what league they are in as soon as we get an official number for the Tourney).

*** YOUR DRAFT ORDER will be based on the timing and size of your donation.

Remember, minimum buy-in is $20 but every dollar after $10 is donated to our Active Troops!

The earlier you donate and the more you donate, the higher your draft pick will be!

SCORING SYSTEM = Non-PPR, Lowered QB Scoring to account for Super Flex, Bonuses for high rushing and receiving yardage and/or usage, DSTs lose points for points AND yardage allowed, and for DPs, it’s 1-point total tackles, 3-point sacks, and 4-point INTs… (See below for exact scoring details).

Tournament Scoring is shown in detail below:

Passing:

  • 50 PAYD = 1.5
  • PATD = 4
  • INT = -2
  • 2pt PA Conv = 1

*Note QB scoring is lower than in standard leagues because of the Super Flex position, so as to not overvalue the QB position because you can start two QBs. Every 50 yards passing is worth 1.5 points, and there’s no fractional points given passing yardage (but there is for rushing / receiving yardage). There is also no bonuses for heavy passing yardage games like there are for rushing/receiving.

Rushing/Receiving:

  • 1 RUYD/REYD YD = .1
  • RUTD/RETD = 6
  • 2 pt RU/RE Conv = 2
  • 100+ RUYD/REYD = 2
  • 200+ RUYD/REYD = 4
  • Every 5 Catches = 2

*Note that rushing and receiving yards DO award fractional points. And while this is not a PPR league, note the usage bonuses for heavy yardage (100/200-yard games) and that every 5 catches is 2 points. The goal with this scoring is to avoid the flaws of PPR scoring but still award heavy usage (5 catches) and yardage, because TDs are typically more flukey by nature.

Kicking:

  • PAT Made = 1
  • PAT Missed = -1
  • FG 30-39 = 3
  • FG 40-49 = 4
  • FG 50+ = 5

*Note the -1 point for missed extra points, but there are no penalties for missed field goals. The reason for this is because there’s no way to distinguish missed FGs that are 50-yards out and more difficult to hit as opposed to a 30-yard FG which should be easy. XPs are generally all the same length so its more fair to penalize kickers for missing kicks they are expected to make.

Defensive Players (IDP)

  • Sack = 3
  • Blocked Kick/Punt = 3
  • FR = 2
  • FF = 2
  • Safety = 2
  • PD = 1
  • Total Tackle = 1
  • INT = 4
  • Stuff = 0.5

*Note that both solo and assisted tackles are weighted equally (+1). A “stuff” is a tackle at or behind the line of scrimmage. So for example, if Von Miller goes unblocked and tackles a running back for a 2-yard loss, he’ll get a stuff (.5) in addition to his tackle (1).

Defenses (DST):

  • Sack = 1
  • All Return TDs = 4
  • Blocked Kick/Punt = 2
  • FR = 2
  • Safety = 3
  • 1-pt Safety = 1
  • 2pt Return = 2
  • INT = 2
  • 0 PA = 7
  • 1-6 PA = 5
  • 7-13 PA = 4
  • 14-17 PA = 2
  • 18-21 PA = 0
  • 22-27 PA = -1
  • 28-34 PA = -2
  • 35+ PA = -4
  • YA<100 = 7
  • YA100-199 = 5
  • YA200-299 = 3
  • YA300-349 = 1
  • YA350-399 = 1
  • YA400-449 = -1
  • YA450-499 = -2
  • YA>500 = -4

*Note that DSTs start with 14 points at the beginning of the game and generally lose points based on points allowed AND yardage allowed. Unlike most leagues, this league puts emphasis yardage allowed because solely using points allowed can be unfair because it’s dependent on field position that the DSTs offense puts them in. If your DSTs QB throws an INT that the other team returns to the 2-yard line, and then the opposing offense runs it in, your DST allowing 7 points shouldn’t be penalized in the same as if they allowed a 10-play 85-yard drive that allowed a TD.

  • All Misc. TDs = 4
  • All FL = -2

*Note all return TDs are only worth 4 points, NOT 6. The reason behind this is to lower the impact that flukey TDs have on fantasy performances. If someone luckily falls on a fumble in the end zone, they do not deserve the same amount of points as a normal scored TD.

Tie-Breakers, (if necessary) = If two teams end up with the same point total Weeks 1-17, the team that would have had the better head-to-head record between each other throughout the season is declared the winner.
